By day, Mike helps Siri change the world (one interaction at a time) as a Conversational Interaction Designer at Apple. 

By night (and weekends!), his passion for Asian performing arts takes center stage. He is motivated by apapsf.org to empower San Francisco kids to explore their heritage and unleash their inner athlete (including teaching a few moves himself!). 

When he's not coaching future CEOs at UC Berkeley Neurotech Collider Lab or training to be Apple's slowest Ironman, you can find him cheering on our student lead dragon boat teams (though he might claim he's just there for moral support).

Driven by the belief that cultural exploration and artistic expression are vital for young minds, Terry and Gayline founded apapsf.org over 3 decades ago. 

Their vision? To empower San Francisco Bay Area children from all backgrounds to celebrate their Asian heritage through performing arts and sports.
